Ready or Not......

After letting mom and dad know that she wasn't going to cooperate much longer Kailyn and Mom were put in the hospital on bed rest. Mom and Dad were hoping to be able to hold off her arrival as long as possible, Kailyn had other plans! After 9 days of bed rest and just shy of 29 weeks in mama's tummy she could wait no longer! At 12:25 a.m. on March 18 Kailyn Marie Yaeger made her grand appearance. She weighed in at 2lbs 14oz and 15 1/4in. She surprised us all by how well she was doing as soon as she was born! She was pink and screaming immediately! That was music to our ears! Even the neonatologist was surprised by how well she was doing! Daddy followed her to the NICU and got to take some good pictures of her first minutes! After getting her all settled in her new room Mom and Dad got to stop by for a short visit and got to take some more pictures! It was hard for us both that we couldn't hold her but we knew she was in a good place with great nurses so we went to our room to try and process all that had just happened!
