Day 4: March 21,2012

The first night home was rough but we made it! I actually slept better than I had expected! The puppies were glad to see me and slept right next to me all night! This morning after getting back into a routine and dropping Jake off at school, and calling to check on Kailyn I must admit we were lazy! I figured it was my birthday after all! We went to see Kailyn about noon and she was chillin' in her bed. The blue bili light was gone and they plan to take out her umbilical IV tonight! They said she did great with her breathing thru the night so we got the OK to hold her and feed her! Felt so good to cuddle with her! We also decided that she needed some comfy PJ's so Daddy and I went and did a little shopping! So, look for pics soon of Kailyn and her stylin' new clothes! Trying to continue getting back into routine we went to karate..Jake is doing such a great job and will test for his orange belt in just a few weeks! He's training to fight all the boys away from his little sister! Then off to a great birthday dinner with my 2 favorite guys! To end our night we visited Kailyn to wish her sweet dreams. We are counting our blessings tonight as we watched as Kailyn's neighbor Jack was having a really hard time tonight. Please keep Jack and his family in your prayers.
